I used trailer puck locks fron proven locks . I drove the trailer home from work and roadsalt and water ( a common result of padlocks being used OUTDOORS in the winter, on a vehicle.

My first complaimt was met with the one man show saying , i don't know if the manufacturer will replace these defective locks ??( really.) The second reply was, "because of poor maintenance on your part, as well as a result of being subjected to abnormal/extraordinary working conditions" really ? Click, and paste the link below to see pics https://goo.gl/photos/7M8ifF3RbhrBCZhk9 So i lost $115?

Ih well.....win some lose some ..... dont be a victim!

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Are you kidding me? WOW.

Looks like you are full of *** there buddy, no way that's one day. Starting with a lie is not a good way to get people to believe you!

I would hate to tell you that any lock left long enough will need some type of user servicing. I buy 100s of locks for work per year.

Some are in the dirt, water or on fences 24/7/365 with little to no use. We have learned that without daily or weekly use on many of them over time they all need some type of care or just be replaced (we have a restore/PM program to help salvage as many lock we can). Any good locksmith will tell you that you have to use or care for your locks from time to time to keep them in shape. As you said above "used OUTDOORS in the winter" and by the looks of your pics I would guess "salt air"....

that will take the best of lock down.

All lock are still some kind of metal and will have a reaction to its environment. Good luck to you.
